About the Author

Sara Jin Li is an essayist, playwright, and filmmaker based in sunny Los Angeles, California. Her writing has been published in New York Magazine, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Paper Magazine, and more. As an immigrant and a queer woman of color, Sara's artistic work centers marginalized identities. She has written several short films and plays, including Leap of Love (2023)—a satire about ableism—which won the Disability Film Festival and is now premiering at film festivals across SoCal. Sara is also the founder of Heretics Club: a literary salon for creative writers. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Harvard University.

Camila Rivera was born in Cali, Colombia, and raised just about everywhere else. She is a witch, a wordsmith, and an eternal dreamer. Her work has been featured in online outlets such as Frenshe and GoodGoodGood Co.

All Things Friendship is Camila’s first book and a dream come true. Ever the rolling stone, she splits her time between New Jersey and North Carolina. When she’s not on the move, you can usually find her telling fortunes, singing bad karaoke, and working on her next novel.
