About the Author

Sven Nordqvist (b.1946) is well-loved Swedish children's illustrator and writer. The Findus and Pettson books draw on his playful adventures with his two young sons and his wonderfully intricate illustrations are inspired by a delight in everyday life. Sven has won many awards for his work in children's literature, including the Elsa Beskow Prize and the Astrid Lindgren Prize.
