A little about us

The Book Nook is a locally owned independent book store in Canby specializing in selling and trading used books.

The Book Nook opened just before Christmas 2017 in a tiny little nook inside the Graham Building. In June 2018 The Book Nook moved into a larger retail space inside the Graham Building expanding our book selection and adding gifts. With a third expansion in April 2019, The Book Nook now has a street facing store front in a larger space with more gifts and books.

We are book nerds at heart! We are excited to share our passion for reading and all things biblio related.

Being in Canby we are centrally located to, Molalla, Aurora, Hubbard, Oregon City, Wilsonville and more. Come check us out for a cozy, friendly book shopping experience. Stop by and chat! We love to hear about your favorite authors and books.

I thought Book Stores were going out of business?

There has been a renaissance in indie bookselling over the past five years. While not every bookstore or community has seen this growth, the national trends are clear: New stores are opening.

Local Artisans

We offer unique gifts from our local partners in our store. Supporting our local artisans is very important to us at The Book Nook! Investing in and building up our local communities is vital to the health of our families. Our community is where we work, live, play, learn, share and grow. Let’s make it the best it can be for us and our children!
